So we made it to Holland, was a quite long drive but would you imagine the drive all the way from Slovenija using a vehicle on this picture :)

Ljubljana Zoo

So i finally made the effort to arrange the pictures that we took 2 months ago in Ljubljana Zoo, i hope you will like it.

Photographers dilema

To all that would wonder on the title here is the answer. This was taken in Dovzanova's gorge in RAW format and then converted to HDR.

Flow

Session 1

OK, this is our first published session, with Urska as a model. We took a lot of pictures, but this 2 after quite some work in PS made the finals. All comments and critiques are more then welcome.

Sky so blue ...

Picture is form our nice Sunday walk in the nature. The weather was just perfect and warm and polarisation filer was really needed. The little playing in PS is from Miki.

A moment frozen in time

This picture was taken last year, when there was a sign of winter around us.

Visiting hills around the geometrical centre of Slovenija.

Around the lake Predvor

Taking a nice walk around the lake at Predvor, winds where blowing and the temperature was around 0°, but it looks like it didn't bother the ducks.

Spring is here...again

This year spring really came early.

I'm still waiting for you

A picture taken last year in may, we wanted to go up there, but the snow and the weather stopped us, so we turned arround on the pass of the mountain.

First job

Ok i know the title doesn't fit to this picture but i must explain. This is actually the first request (you can call it a job) that me and Urska got, thus "First job". Also this was taken with our new polarization filter (Marumi Digital DHG Circular PL(D) )

Child's eyes

As we were visiting Miloses parents I took a few shots of his niece Anja and I played a little in PS with this one.

Orchid

An orchid taken at my mother house, its a HDR image, the quality could be better but (maybe not to put a white orchid against a white wall :) ) i'm still learning.

i'm watching you

Ulla was playing with the camera again, Miki was being very optimistic and tried some polishing in PhotoShop, and this is the result. I hope you like it.

It's so cold ...

We had a 10 min walk with Sara and i manage to take just a few pictures.

Testing out the "new" stuff

So finally we took the "big" leap and jumped from compact to DSLR mode, i must say the difference is so huge that i can not imagine having compact camera at any time again.
Here are a few tryouts taken today at a nearby hill.

this is the first try of an HDR image, i tried it in our kitchen with a sea motive, i know this is by far the worst HDR but hey i got a lot to learn :)

And so it has come to the last day of our vacation, the sun was saying goodbye and we where feeling a little sad that it will be another year before we will see all this again.
But it is worth the wait.
